Ashley McCall Scott was born on July 13, 1977, in Metairie, Louisiana, and grew up in Charleston, South Carolina. She began her modeling career at a young age and was a finalist in the 1993 Elite Model Look competition.

As a teenager, she became a model for Elite Miami and modeled internationally in fashion shows in Miami, Paris, and London. She has graced the covers of numerous prestigious publications.

Ashley Scott made her screen debut as Gigolo Jane in the 2001 feature film "A.I. Artificial Intelligence". She gained further recognition for her role as Asha Barlow in the Fox science fiction series "Dark Angel" in 2001.

In 2002, she was cast as Helena Kyle, also known as Huntress, in the WB television drama series "Birds of Prey". Her television roles include Emily Sullivan in the CBS series "Jericho" and Mary Newhouse in the Lifetime network's comedy-drama series "UnREAL".

In addition to her television work, she has appeared in several films, including "Walking Tall" (2004), "Into the Blue" (2005), "The Kingdom" (2007), and "12 Rounds" (2009). She is also known for providing the voice and motion capture for Maria Miller in the video games "The Last of Us" (2013) and "The Last of Us Part II" (2020).

Ashley Scott was married to producer Anthony Rhulen from 2004 to 2008 and later married Steve Hart, lead singer of the band Worlds Apart, in 2010. They have two daughters together, but they divorced in 2019. As of October 2017, she resided in Los Angeles with her two daughters.
