Brooke Shields

Brooke Christa Shields was born on May 31, 1965, in New York City. She began her career as a child model at just 11 months old. She gained widespread attention at the age of 12 for her role in the film "Pretty Baby" in 1978.

She continued to model and act in the 1980s, starring in films like "The Blue Lagoon" and "Endless Love." In 1983, she paused her modeling career to attend Princeton University, where she graduated with a degree in Romance languages.

In the 1990s, she returned to acting, appearing in minor film roles and starring in the NBC sitcom "Suddenly Susan," for which she received two Golden Globe nominations. She also starred in the series "Lipstick Jungle" and had a recurring role in "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit."

She voiced Beverly Goodman in the animated series "Mr. Pickles" and its spin-off "Momma Named Me Sheriff."

Brooke Shields was born to actress and model Teri Shields and businessman Francis Alexander Shields. Her mother was of English, German, Scotch-Irish, French Canadian, and Welsh descent, while her father had English, French, German, Irish, and Italian ancestry.

She has ancestral links to several noble families from Italy. She married tennis player Andre Agassi in 1997, but they divorced two years later. In 2001, she married Chris Henchy, and they have two daughters, Rowan and Grier.
