Miranda May Kerr was born on April 20, 1983, in Sydney, Australia. She is an Australian model and entrepreneur. Her parents are Therese and John Kerr, and she has a younger brother named Matthew. Miranda grew up in the small town of Gunnedah, New South Wales, where she enjoyed racing motorbikes and riding horses on her grandmother's farm.

She later moved to Brisbane with her family to experience city life. She initially aspired to become a nutritionist and studied nutrition and health psychology after graduating from All Hallows' School in 2000.

Miranda Kerr began her modeling career at the age of 13 when she won the Dolly magazine model search competition in 1997. This early success led to her working with various clothing brands and appearing in print advertisements.
