Pia Zadora, born Pia Alfreda Schipani on May 4, 1954, in Hoboken, New Jersey, is an American actress and singer. She began her career as a child actress, making her Broadway debut in "Fiddler on the Roof" and appearing in the film "Santa Claus Conquers the Martians" (1964).
Despite early recognition, her acting career faced criticism, especially for her role in the film "Butterfly" (1982), which earned her both a Golden Globe Award and a Golden Raspberry Award for Worst Actress.
